Default features

The package includes articles, WordPress search, internal links, and browser-local planning calculations. The planning tools do not send their input values to this website through code supplied in the package. No analytics, advertising scripts, newsletter service, or visitor contact form is included in the default theme and starter plugin.

Hosting and WordPress

Your request to view a page is handled by the website’s hosting provider, which may process connection and request information under its own service arrangement. WordPress can use authentication cookies for signed-in users. The imported articles have comments disabled. The publisher must describe any additional data handling or cookie behavior introduced by the live configuration.

Email contact

If you email the publisher, your email provider and the publisher’s email service handle the message. Avoid sending sensitive information that is unnecessary for an editorial question. The publisher is responsible for its handling and retention of received messages.

External websites

Manufacturer and retailer links lead to external services with their own privacy practices. Amazon handles activity on its website, including purchases. Review the relevant service’s policy when using it.
